Who We Are
As one of the largest Yeshivas in the Southeastern United States, we are a home to nearly 700 precious students. Since our inception in 1984, we have continued to grow and flourish as we guide our exemplary talmidim and talmidos along the path of educational excellence and success. Serving the diverse needs of South Florida's Orthodox Jewish community, our school proudly carries on the rich tradition of Jewish religious education while simultaneously equipping our students with an outstanding secular education. Our mission is to imbue each student with a lifelong thirst for Torah learning, to enable our children to recognize the depth and richness of our Jewish heritage, and to provide them with the tools they need to succeed in life.
Divisions:
Early Childhood Education and Klurman Elementary School:
Beginning in Nursery, our young students develop a love for Torah through play, arts and crafts and performances centered around the Jewish holidays. Our unique elementary school Rabbeim and Moros provide our students with a top quality education in both Judaic and secular studies. Our innovative learning programs and enrichment curriculums are designed to help each student grow in his or her specific area of need. Our social groups help foster a greater sensitivity towards others while providing a safe, secure and happy environment in which our children can learn and grow.
Rohr Middle School:
The warm and nurturing environment in our middle school is designed to ignite the greatness in every student, and to develop their love for Torah. Our extremely caring and sensitive Rabbeim and teachers establish close relationships with each student and are always ready to go the extra mile. With our unique middos program, creative educational workshops, and weekly student leadership meetings, our talmidim are able to reach great heights in their emunah and derech eretz, and develop into true Bnei Torah.
Dr. Abe Chames High School:
Our high school offers 7 concurrent gemorah Iyun Shiurim, elective honors classes in all secular subjects and optional AP examinations. The dynamic Rabbeim create an atmosphere in which the talmidim are able to develop a tremendous love for Torah learning. Additionally, many students consistently achieve superior scores on SAT and ACT exams, and have earned semi-finalist status in the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Association Competition, with a number becoming finalists. Our graduates have been accepted to the finest Yeshivas, colleges and graduate schools. Many of our alumni continue on to learn in Kollel and assume positions in Harbotzas HaTorah, while those who are in the professional world hold positions of leadership in the most prestigious companies.
Bais Medrash Zichron Ezra:
Our Bais Medrash is the largest in southeastern United States, with bochurim from all over the country learning three sedarim a day. We offer 4 levels of shiurim and are widely known for the close Rebbi-Talmid relationships which develop over time. A strong emphasis is placed on mussar and middos, enabling our bochurim to emerge as true Bnei Torah and dedicated members of Klal Yisroel. Our Bais Medrash is open 24/7 throughout the entire year for anyone to come and learn.
The secret to our success
The secret to our incredible success is the close relationships which our outstanding Rabbeim and Mechanchim foster with each student. This warm setting provides the ultimate environment for encouraging the highest standards of learning, hasmodah and character development. Our goal is to enable all students to reach their maximum potential.
Building the future
A brand new, state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. building with 17 classrooms and a rooftop gymnasium is currently under construction. The building will also include a multi-purpose/dining room, an outdoor covered pavilion and a spectacular playground. Our students will now have access to a computer lab, science lab and art room. This much needed expansion will yield a total of 9 preschool classrooms, enable us to offer parallel classes for boys and girls throughout elementary school, and will give us the capacity for an additional 300 students.
We are also in the process of constructing an additional 3,000 sq. ft. dormitory on our Toras Chaim campus. When complete, the yeshiva will be able to provide accommodations for over 100 high school and Bais Medrash bochurim.
We greatly appreciate your continued support and encouragement as we proudly carry on this tradition of educational excellence.
