Rabbi and Mrs. Dovid and Miriam Lehrfield are well known as founding members of the North Miami Beach Community and Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes. The Lehrfields first moved to North Miami Beach in 1985 for Rabbi Lehrfield to assume the position of Rav of the Young Israel of Greater Miami. Mrs. Lehrfield was a beloved Morah in the preschool for many years and considers it her home. The Lehrfields' youngest son Elly was enrolled in Toras Emes and continued through high school.

Their children, Rabbi and Mrs. Moshe and Jennifer Lehrfield moved to North Miami Beach in 1987 and have raised their family here. From the beginning, they have been active members of the community and the Yeshiva encouraging the growth of Torah in South Florida. Moshe, a successful attorney, currently serves as the Vice President of the Yeshiva and Jennifer taught for more than a decade and continues to volunteer her time. Their children have attended the various divisions of Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes, with their youngest, Yehuda, currently in the Rohr Middle School.

When Dr. and Mrs. Daniel and Nechama (nee Lehrfield) Heller, both alumni of the Yeshiva, moved back to North Miami Beach, they too became involved in the community emphasizing their commitment to the importance of Torah Education for all students. Daniel, a physician is also an active board member of the Yeshiva and serves on its Finance Committee. As the Yeshiva's Associate Director of Development, Nechama works to connect parents with the Yeshiva, and takes all the schools fundraisers and events to the next level with her unique talent and flair coupled with her forward thinking vision.

Despite their busy professional and community obligations, their true pride are their children; Benjy, Abby, Rachelli and Gabi. All of whom are students or alumni of the yeshiva, and are fortunate to have three generations of tremendous role models who have no doubt instilled in them the importance of a true Torah education.
