Welcome to Pre-K! We are busy getting comfortable in our new classrooms, making new friends and being reunited with our old classmates.
We discussed Chodesh Elul and are concentrating on doing mitzvos in preparation for Rosh Hashana.
We are learning about the concept of Teshuva, and how it pertains to everybody. The children have learned the various sounds that a shofar makes, and have been singing many songs to reiterate these concepts.
Some of the stories that we listened to this week were The Very Best Place For A Penny and Yossi And Label Hot On The Trail both by Dina Rosenfeld.
We are looking forward to having the Shofar Factory join us next week and to baking delicious, sweet honey cakes. Have a good Shabbos.
